Growton: 14 interested prospects from job ads in 3 weeks
Growton recruits sales people. The best moment to offer that service to a company is the moment it posts a sales job ad itself. We built a campaign that picks up such ads every day on the job boards OLX and Pracuj.pl, scores each one against Growton's ideal customer profile and writes to the decision-maker, using the content of that specific ad.

For comparison, typical cold B2B campaigns reach 3 to 5% replies (Instantly industry benchmarks, 2025). After the first pilot campaign Growton signed an open-ended contract with us.
The client and the challenge
Growton, based in Wrocław, has recruited only sales people for over a decade and sets up sales operations inside B2B companies. Its ideal customer is a company that is building a sales team: it hires full time, pays a base salary plus commission and sells in IT, medtech, manufacturing or professional services.
A company like that gives away its need. It posts a "salesperson wanted" ad on a job board. The trouble is that there are thousands of ads and most do not fit: freelance contracts, retail sales, call centres, companies outside Growton's industries.
Growton needed three things:
- a steady flow of companies that are recruiting sales people now, not at some point in the future,
- a filter that rejects ads outside the ideal customer profile before anyone writes to them,
- messages that refer to the specific ad rather than to "your company".
Growton also had a point of comparison: it had previously worked with another lead generation provider.
The solution: prospecting on job ad signals

Every ad goes through scoring before anyone writes to the company. The message is built from that ad, and Growton receives the contact together with a link to the ad the decision-maker replied about.
ICP scoring. We took the criteria straight from the customer definition written into the contract. AI rates each ad against 12 criteria worth 1 point each, among them:
- a B2B sales role in an industry on Growton's list (both conditions are required),
- base plus commission, a salary range above the market, several vacancies at once,
- a description of the sales process and signs of harder selling (field sales, CRM, a long cycle),
- an ad younger than 30 days, large cities, signs that the company is growing.
Pure B2C, retail or e-commerce selling sets the score to zero. An ad needs at least 6 out of 12 to enter a campaign.
The message. The first email refers to the specific ad and the challenge it implies. The second shows how Growton helps companies like that. The third closes the thread. We started from a proven prompt supplied by Growton's Sales Director and extended it with data from the ad.
Channels. Four campaigns: OLX and Pracuj.pl, each sent separately to company addresses and to named decision-makers. Emails went out from warmed-up mailboxes, with no open or click tracking.
How the work went
More than three months passed between the first conversation and the first send. Most of that time went on agreeing who is a good customer for Growton and who is not. The campaign itself ran for three weeks.

Summary of the first campaign: 14 interested prospects handed to Growton's sales team.
Results

An interested prospect is a decision-maker who replied and is open to a conversation with Growton. Each one went to Growton's sales team together with a link to the ad they replied about.
| Campaign | Contacts | Emails sent | Replies | Replies / contacts |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| OLX, company addresses | 229 | 681 | 18 | 7.9% |
| OLX, named decision-makers | 41 | 115 | 5 | 12.2% |
| Pracuj.pl, company addresses | 228 | 665 | 19 | 8.3% |
| Pracuj.pl, named decision-makers | 189 | 559 | 15 | 7.9% |
| Total | 687 | 2,020 | 57 | 8.3% |
Replies do not include auto-responders (there were 35 of those, counted separately). Bounced emails: 0. Interested prospects split evenly between the two job boards: 7 from OLX and 7 from Pracuj.pl.
This is the result of one campaign, not an average or a promise.
What worked and what we learned
“We have experience with our previous provider, and we think the quality of service, the leads and the whole cooperation are decidedly better.”
The signal matters more than the list
A job ad for a salesperson is exactly the need Growton meets. Our message arrived in the week the company was actually looking for people.
Define the customer before launch
We carried the contract criteria into the scoring one to one. The campaign exposed a single gap: part-time ads. Working hours are now a condition in the contract and in the filter.
The third email delivers the result
A short closing email ("if now is not a good time, I will not write again") brought 24 of the 57 replies. The first email brought 19 and the second 14.
Send timing matters
We moved the launch away from the end of the summer holidays so that it would not run into out-of-office replies.
Infrastructure without open tracking
Sending with no tracking pixels or links, from warmed-up domains: 0 bounces on 2,020 emails.
What next: Growton signed an open-ended contract. Its sales team now receives a steady flow of interested companies that are recruiting sales people right now.
