Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to work with Konvertia?
We bill a monthly subscription on a modular basis. The base price starts at £1,450 and always includes data enrichment and hyper-personalisation of every message. You only pay extra for the components you choose: infrastructure, database building, contact volume or LinkedIn (£500 per account). The standard package costs £2,700 a month. You can work out a precise quote in the calculator on /pricing.
How many meetings a month can we expect?
It depends on the market, the customer profile and the volume, so any figure quoted upfront would be a guess. For scale: in one of our campaigns (800 prospects, a three-message sequence over two weeks) we booked more than 20 meetings. We set a realistic plan for your market after analysing your ideal customer profile (ICP).
How quickly will we see the first results?
The first three weeks go on preparation and warming up the sending mailboxes. The email campaign launches in week four, and the first meetings are usually booked in week five. The first positive replies often arrive on the day sending starts.
Does cold email still work?
Yes, provided it is personalised. Identical mass mailings stopped working years ago, but a message built around the context of the individual recipient still opens conversations: our campaign for a B2B services company reached a 14% reply rate, against the 3-5% typical of cold B2B campaigns.
Is cold email legal in the UK?
Generally yes for business-to-business email, with conditions. Under PECR you can email corporate subscribers, such as limited companies and LLPs, without prior consent, as long as you identify yourself and give a simple way to opt out. Sole traders and some partnerships are treated like individuals and are subject to stricter rules, so they need separate handling. Personal data in business contacts falls under UK GDPR. This is general information, not legal advice.
What is the legal basis for your cold email campaigns?
B2B cold email is lawful in the UK when the right safeguards are in place. We base every campaign on two complementary legal foundations:
- Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR).Direct marketing of services in a business context can be a legitimate interest of the controller, provided it is balanced against the recipient's rights. We contact only people in decision-making roles, for whom the message is genuinely relevant to their professional work.
- Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).PECR allows marketing email to corporate subscribers without prior consent, as long as the sender is clearly identified and the recipient has a simple, immediate way to opt out. Every message we send says who we are and includes a way to stop further emails. The ICO's direct marketing guidance sets out these expectations.
Why is this lawful for us when others sometimes get it wrong? It comes down to method. We do not use bought, mass lists of unknown origin. We build databases manually and algorithmically around your ideal customer profile, using only publicly available company registry and professional data. Because every message is hyper-personalised and grounded in real business context, our campaigns do not read as spam and are received as a professional business enquiry.
How are you different from other agencies?
We build every message from the context of the specific recipient (their LinkedIn activity, company data and market signals) rather than from a template. We also run multichannel campaigns and measure performance by real results: replies and booked meetings, not the number of messages sent.
Won't this be spam?
No. Spam is mass, identical sending to random addresses. Our campaigns run at a small, controlled scale, with messages written for a specific recipient and a fully authenticated domain. We agree the offer and the message with you before launch.
Do you send LinkedIn messages on our behalf?
Yes, from profiles we agree together, most often those of people on your team. You approve or edit every message before it is sent, and you can see the outbox throughout the campaign.
Can we see the content of the messages?
On LinkedIn, fully: you can see the outbox in our tool and approve or edit every message before it is sent. For cold email, we agree the offer and the message together and share individual messages on request. Nothing goes out without your agreement.
What is the risk of a LinkedIn ban?
Restrictions come from tools that work at an inhuman pace. Our own technology keeps to daily limits and a natural rhythm of activity, and so far none of our clients' accounts has been blocked.
How many messages are in a sequence?
A typical sequence is 3-4 messages, sent 3 to 6 days apart. More than that tends to feel pushy. The number of messages and the rhythm depend on the size of the prospect database.
On what basis do you build the database and gather context about recipients?
We build the database around your ideal customer profile from publicly available company and professional data. Our platform gathers context on each person: LinkedIn activity, data from the company website and market signals such as a job change, hiring or funding.
Do we have to sign a long-term contract?
No. We work on an open-ended agreement with a one-month notice period, and you can start with a three-month pilot billed for two months.
